Hairdresser
The lovely Sara of Travel Hairdresser comes to cut Karin’s hair as well as her children’s too in the comfort of her home. She is fab and Karin has been with her since 2016.
Meraki London is a boutique salon based on Blenheim Terrace just off of the Abbey road. Founder Melina opened the doors to her salon in 2020. She works along side another stylist Anna where they cater to all your hairdressing needs whether it be colour, cuts, blow dry’s to extensions and gents.
Hair Colouring
Since 2015, Karin has had her hair coloured in the comfort of her own home with the amazing Steve Curran who has done the hair of many celebrities including Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and many more. Steve was Nicky Clarke’s head colourist during his ten-year-tenure there, and he has since worked for other top hairdressers. He currently works at a salon in Knightsbridge and spends the rest of his time colouring the hair of people at the top of their game in the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Steve’s experience and proficiencies were enhanced alongside some of the world’s top designers, leading fashion magazines and A-List Celebrities such as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Vogue, Elle, Grazia to name but a few. He is giving NW8-mums an exclusive deal (prices start at £140 instead of £180 depending on what you need doing and what your hair is like), so if you are looking for someone to give you a real boost, book in with Steve.

There are many places in and around St John’s Wood that offer anything from lovely relaxing beauty and pampering sessions to more advanced aesthetic procedures for tired and stressed-out mums and dads. Below are a few local places, however the list is not exhaustive.
Aesthetic Medical Procedures
AM Aesthetics is run by one of our mums Alexandra Mills-Haq who loves helping parents from the group.
Beyoutiful Retreat, located on Abbey Road, is popular with many in the group.
Pepper Stewart is an osteopath, manual therapist, beautician, nutritionist and Pilates teacher and has a clinic in St John’s Wood and Knightsbridge. Pepper’s unique approach is to ‘treat and train’. I regularly see her for osteopathy treatments.
Ksenia Esteves, one of our mums, is a registered nurse and founder of Lifestyle Nurse who I have seen regularly myself since 2019.
Dr Tara Francis and her team at Twoth Dental & Aesthetics are very popular.
GP Manda Lora is one of our mums and her concierge aesthetics business MLC Aesthetics comes to you.
Karidis can be found inside St John & St Elizabeth’s Hospital.
Further afield in Harley Street, my favourite facialist Izabela Pawlitka, works at the Dr David Jack Clinic.
